sean and seaducer
Quite the weekend, the weather cooperated, my meds cooperated mostly, rode a bit and hardly any grief with family and friends. I even got about 8 dives in with Mer, Kelly and Sean to boot.
GLUE members spent Monday evening doing line maintenance out by the Ducks Islands and we even got to enjoy a flat lake. So life was good, We had to even fill a boat for the Deck Ape to keep the spirit alive and well in Kingston. Now it's back to the grind as my chest cold and lung infection is finally gone.
This was the last picture I took coming out of the water from the weekend, it features Sean and the Seaducer as the sun came down.

Bud gets the funding for a new ramp

The only charity I belong to now in Kingston is the Canadian Army Veterans(CAV) motorcycle unit, and last night The membership donated $745.00 at bike night. Total collected is as follows;
Rona Credit = $500
RCHA =$1000
Bike Night =$745
Total collected =$2245.00
Bud is a vet that just recently had his leg amputated due to Diabetes and had no funding to build a wheel chair ramp to his home, the CAV stepped up like usual and assisted in raising funds for him. As you can see from the break down others in town did the same and now Bud is able to get around more easier. KUDOS to all involved.

coming out of the water
New med dose and a few rough days at first but today was almost semi-normal except those around me are back at it. Quite the weekend with some discover scubas, some diving, some riding and lots of sun.
I even took over a 100 pics this long weekend and another 40 underwater with my new lens. The shot above was taken with it, the old wide angle lens I had wouldn't be able to take this shot with out great difficulty.
I even spent Sunday fixing a line for POW finishing mostly up what Harold had done in prepared for the SM Douglas.

What a weekend
So the weekend went great but the problem with that is after 2 days of being semi normal I always have to pay a price. Sunday morning was the price. I was very low and on top of that have a cold again.
On Friday I picked up my new ride and a new fisheye lens for my camera and proceeded to click away after a couple of dives in the quarry. Saturday found us on the Comet and then the Luci for a few and the evening pumping many tanks as the Quebecers were coming fast and furious all day.
Sunday afternoon an old school chum of mine came to town so I met him at the hoogie house and let him take my ride down to the gas station as I rode his. At Timmy's I seen a girl in distress with her car and she stripped down to her underwear as she fixed it.
Off for an evening of touring and then home to bed. This week I have to install my blu-ray player.
So in true fashion the drive by tune is Thick as thieves by Trooper.

Pfffft
I was down at the waterfront and took a few shots of kids feeding birds. It was interesting to see the interaction between the kids and the gulls, ducks and chickadees. I even got to see the new work place of the leprechaun and like the other boats he has nothing was moving.

A bunch of Dives does one good
So off to the races this weekend and dove lots, and rode lots and took pics lot. New dosage seem to be working at the moment but I've been here before. Sean seems to be getting his camera down now as well so stay tuned maybe he'll do a blog or a flickr page.The above picture is from the Seaducer while we were on the City of Sheyboygan an 18th century schooner near perfectly in tact, it looks like a few others in the area ready to rise and sail again, the drive by was easy today as the deck ape came to us for a visit.
Meet Crowlye the unlucky leprechaun he will be joining me randomly for some hijinx so stay tuned.
